How far is Vrindavan from Noida by cab?
Vrindavan is about 140–150 km from Noida's main sectors and Pari Chowk, and Mathura is roughly 150–160 km away. A Noida to Vrindavan cab usually takes 2.5 to 3 hours on the Yamuna Expressway, leaving at the Mathura–Vrindavan exit. From central Delhi, plan on 3 to 3.5 hours because of city traffic.
| Starting point | To | Approx. distance | Approx. time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Noida / Pari Chowk | Vrindavan | ~140–150 km | 2.5–3 hours |
| Noida / Pari Chowk | Mathura | ~150–160 km | 2.5–3 hours |
| Central Delhi | Vrindavan | ~160–170 km | 3–3.5 hours |
| Vrindavan | Mathura | ~12–15 km | 30–40 minutes |
Most of the drive is on the Yamuna Expressway, which starts at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida. The last stretch from the exit into Vrindavan is a town road and can be slow on weekends. FASTag tolls are paid at actuals and shown in your quote.
Pickups are available from every Noida sector, Greater Noida, Noida Extension, Ghaziabad and Delhi. A Noida to Mathura taxi starting from Ghaziabad or East Delhi takes about 30 to 60 minutes longer to reach the expressway. From Greater Noida, a Noida to Vrindavan taxi is quicker because Pari Chowk is close by.
Can I do Vrindavan and Mathura darshan in one day?
Yes. Leave Noida by 5 or 6 am, reach Vrindavan for morning darshan at Banke Bihari, visit ISKCON and Nidhivan, then drive to Mathura for Krishna Janmabhoomi after lunch. Most temples close for a few hours in the afternoon, so return to Vrindavan for Prem Mandir's evening lights before heading home.
A simple same-day plan with a Noida to Vrindavan taxi:
- 5:30 am: pickup from your home in Noida, Greater Noida or Ghaziabad.
- 8:30 am: Banke Bihari temple for morning darshan.
- 10:30 am: ISKCON (Krishna Balaram Mandir) and Nidhivan.
- 2 pm: Krishna Janmabhoomi and Vishram Ghat in Mathura.
- 6 pm: Prem Mandir as the lights come on.
- 7:30 pm: start the drive back to Noida.
Temple timings change with the season and festival calendar. Uttar Pradesh Tourism lists the main Braj sites; confirm timings locally before you travel.
Which car should I book for a Noida to Vrindavan cab?
Pick the car by family size and how much you are carrying. A Swift Dzire suits up to four people, an Ertiga or Innova Crysta is comfortable for six or seven, and a tempo traveller works for satsang groups and families of 12 to 25. Every Noida to Vrindavan cab is air-conditioned, commercially registered and comes with a driver.
| Vehicle | Seats | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Swift Dzire | 4 + driver | Couples and small families |
| Maruti Ertiga | 6 + driver | Families with elders |
| Toyota Innova Crysta | 6–7 + driver | Extra legroom on a long temple day |
| Tempo Traveller | 12, 16 or 25 + driver | Kirtan mandalis and group pilgrimages |

For a large group, see our tempo traveller on rent in Noida page for seat layouts.

Is a Noida to Mathura cab different from a Vrindavan trip?
Not really – it is the same expressway and the same exit, with Mathura about 12–15 km beyond Vrindavan. Book a Noida to Mathura cab if your focus is Krishna Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadhish temple and Vishram Ghat, or combine both towns in one day. Tell us your list of temples so we plan the order sensibly.
A Noida to Mathura taxi also works well for Govardhan parikrama, since Govardhan is a short drive from Mathura. Barsana and Nandgaon, famous for Lathmar Holi, are further out and fit better into a separate day or an overnight plan. Our blog on round trip cab packages for temple visits explains how multi-stop temple days are planned.
Can I book a Mathura to Noida cab for the return?
Yes. On a round trip the same car and driver bring you back, which is the easiest option. A one-way Mathura to Noida cab pickup can be arranged on request, subject to availability, so call or WhatsApp us a day or two ahead with your hotel or ashram address, date and preferred pickup time.
If you are staying in Vrindavan for a few days, a one-way drop now and a Mathura to Noida cab later often works out well. Share both dates when you first call, and we will check which vehicle is free for the return.
How crowded is Vrindavan on Janmashtami and Holi?
Very crowded. On Janmashtami, Holi, Radhashtami and long weekends, lakhs of devotees reach Vrindavan and Mathura, roads near the temples become slow and police may restrict vehicles close to the main shrines. Book your Noida to Vrindavan cab early, start before dawn and expect to walk the last stretch.
- Carry little cash and keep phones in a closed bag in temple crowds.
- Keep children and elders close in the lanes around Banke Bihari.
- For Holi, carry a change of clothes and cover phones from colour.
For midnight Janmashtami darshan at Krishna Janmabhoomi, book your Noida to Mathura cab at least a week ahead and expect your Mathura to Noida cab journey to begin well after midnight.
Winter mornings bring dense fog on the expressway, so check the India Meteorological Department forecast before an early start. In the fog season a Noida to Mathura taxi may leave a little later for safety.
