Planning four Himalayan shrines, ten or more hotel nights, meals, treks and a long mountain drive is a lot of work, especially when you are also looking after elderly parents or a large group. That is why most families prefer a complete chardham yatra tour package rather than booking each piece separately. At Kashi Travels in Sector 122, Noida, we design packages around your family's needs – pace, comfort, food and budget – and we stay in touch throughout the journey. This page explains the package types we offer, what "all-inclusive" really covers, how to compare operators and how booking works.
Types of chardham yatra tour package we offer
| Package | Who it is for | Days | Vehicle | Hotels | Meals |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| All-Inclusive Family | Families of 2–6 | 11 | Ertiga / Innova Crysta | Deluxe | Breakfast + dinner |
| Senior Comfort | Travellers above 60 | 12–13 | Innova Crysta | Deluxe / Premium near temples | Breakfast + dinner, satvik on request |
| NRI Pilgrim | Families flying in from abroad | 11–12 | Innova Crysta | Premium | All meals |
| Group Satsang | 9–25 travellers | 11–12 | 12/16/25 seater tempo traveller | Standard / Deluxe | Breakfast + dinner |
| Budget Pilgrim | Young, fit travellers | 10–11 | Swift Dzire / Ertiga | Standard | Optional |
Every plan can be adjusted for pace, hotel choice and food preferences. Every package follows the traditional order – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath – and can start from Noida, Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun. If you are comparing it with a 4 Dham Yatra package from another company, remember that the names differ but the pilgrimage is the same; what really matters is the list of inclusions.
What does "all-inclusive" really include?
The word "all-inclusive" is used loosely in the travel market. In our chardham yatra tour package, it means:
- Private vehicle for the full trip with an experienced hill driver.
- Fuel, driver allowance and the driver's stay.
- Tolls, parking and state entry tax included in the quote (for all-inclusive plans).
- Hotels for all nights, with names shared in advance.
- Breakfast and dinner at hotels (lunch on the road is usually left flexible).
- Registration help and a document checklist.
- 24x7 phone support from our Noida office.
Still excluded, even in all-inclusive plans: pony, palki, doli or pithoo charges; Kedarnath helicopter tickets; special pujas; lunch and snacks on the road; and personal expenses. We write these clearly so there are no surprises.
Senior Comfort package in detail
Parents and grandparents often dream of this pilgrimage for years. Our Senior Comfort plan is built around their pace:
- 12–13 days instead of 11, with a rest day after Kedarnath and shorter driving days.
- Innova Crysta with comfortable seating and space for walking aids.
- Hotels close to temples, so the walk for darshan is short.
- Palki or helicopter planning for Kedarnath, and palki at Yamunotri.
- Satvik or diabetic-friendly meals arranged with hotels in advance.
- Daily check-ins from our office to make sure everyone is well.
We also advise a medical check-up before travel, because health screening is mandatory at designated points in 2026 for pilgrims above 55.
NRI Pilgrim package
Families living abroad often have limited leave and a fixed return flight. Our NRI plan includes:
- Pickup from IGI Airport, Delhi, or from Dehradun's Jolly Grant airport.
- Premium hotels where available and full-board meals.
- Registration guidance using passport details.
- Buffer days for weather, so you do not miss your flight home.
- Help with Kedarnath helicopter shuttle booking on the official IRCTC HeliYatra portal.
Group Satsang package
For residential societies, satsang mandalis, temples and office groups, the group chardham yatra tour package keeps everyone together in one vehicle, shares costs and makes the journey joyful with bhajans and shared meals. We handle group hotel blocks, fixed departure times and a single point of contact. See seating and luggage details on our 16 seater tempo traveller page.

How to choose the right operator
Before you pay for any chardham yatra tour package, check these points:
- Is the company real? Office address, landline, GST invoice and recent Google reviews.
- Are hotels named? "Similar hotel" is a warning sign in peak season.
- What are the exclusions? Tolls, state tax, pony, palki, helicopter and meals.
- What happens if roads close? Who pays for extra days, and how is the plan changed?
- Who is your contact during the trip? A named person with a 24x7 number.
- Is payment safe? Only to a company account, never to a personal UPI ID.
A trustworthy operator will answer all of these in writing, whether you are buying a chardham plan or a 4 Dham Yatra package.
Food on our packages
Food matters a great deal on a long pilgrimage, especially for elders and children. Hotels on the route serve simple vegetarian meals – dal, rice, roti, seasonal sabzi, paneer dishes and parathas – and most can prepare satvik food without onion and garlic if informed in advance. Jain meals are possible in larger towns like Haridwar, Uttarkashi and Badrinath with prior notice. Diabetic travellers should carry their own snacks and inform us so we can request suitable meals. On the Kedarnath trek, food is available at stalls but is simpler and costlier, so carry dry fruits and energy bars. Drinking water is available at most stops, but carrying a reusable bottle and a few ORS sachets is wise, especially on warm afternoons in May and June. Many families also carry homemade snacks such as mathri, laddoos or roasted chana for the long drives – they travel well and are welcome between meals.
Popular add-ons to any package
- Kedarnath helicopter shuttle from Phata, Sersi or Guptkashi, booked on IRCTC.
- Palki or pony at Yamunotri and Kedarnath through official counters.
- Chopta and Tungnath between Kedarnath and Badrinath.
- Harsil valley stay near Gangotri in autumn.
- Rishikesh extra night for aarti, yoga or rafting on the way home.
- Special puja booking at Kedarnath or Badrinath through the temple committee.
Each add-on adds time and cost, so tell us early and we will fit it into your plan.
Shorter alternatives
If 11–12 days is too long, consider a Do Dham plan covering Kedarnath and Badrinath in 7–8 days. Many families do this first and complete Yamunotri and Gangotri later. Our Do Dham Yatra guide explains the plan. You can also ask us to convert a Do Dham plan into a full 4 Dham Yatra package next season.
Package or self-planned trip?
Some experienced travellers book hotels online and hire local taxis at each town. It can work, but you manage every problem yourself – registration issues, full hotels, vehicle breakdowns and road closures. A complete chardham yatra tour package gives you one contact, one driver who stays with you and a team that can change hotels or routes when the mountains demand it. For families with seniors or children, that support is usually worth much more than the small saving of doing it alone.
Understanding the price of a package
We do not publish a fixed price, because every chardham yatra tour package is different. The main factors are travel dates, hotel category, vehicle type, number of days, meal plan and add-ons. A group sharing a tempo traveller pays far less per person than a small family in an SUV. Our Char Dham Yatra cost guide explains every cost head, and our tempo traveller on rent in Noida page helps groups compare vehicles. When you compare our quote with any other 4 Dham Yatra package, check the inclusions line by line, not just the final number.
What happens after you book
Once you confirm, we send a final itinerary with hotel names and contacts, a packing list, driver and vehicle details two or three days before departure, and a reminder to carry registration printouts. During the trip our office calls every evening to check how the day went and to plan the next morning. If weather or roads change the plan, we rebook hotels and adjust the route with you. After the trip, we welcome your feedback – it helps us improve every 4 Dham Yatra package we run.
Health and safety on every trip
Safety is built into every plan we run. Vehicles are serviced and checked before departure, and every car or tempo traveller carries a first-aid kit, torch and blankets. Drivers avoid night driving in the hills, check road status each morning and follow police advisories without argument. We recommend that every traveller above 55 gets a medical check-up before the trip, carries prescriptions and keeps a list of medical conditions in their bag. On the treks, walk slowly, drink water and rest when needed; if anyone feels breathless, dizzy or confused, descend and visit the nearest medical post. With these simple habits, a 4 Dham Yatra package becomes a safe and peaceful experience for the whole family, including grandparents and young children.
Registration, rules and 2026 dates
Every pilgrim must register on the official Tourist Care Uttarakhand portal. In 2026 the shrines opened between 19 and 23 April and close in November. Phones and cameras are not allowed inside temple premises, and health screening is mandatory at designated points. Check temple updates on the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee website, and read our registration guide for step-by-step help.
Best time to book
For May and June departures, book 6–8 weeks ahead; hotels near Kedarnath and Badrinath fill up quickly. For September and October, 3–4 weeks is usually enough. July and August are monsoon months, and we do not recommend them for families. See our best time for Char Dham Yatra guide.
