Every family travelling to the Char Dham has different needs. A young couple wants a quick, budget plan; a family with elderly parents needs comfort and rest days; a residential society needs a large vehicle and group hotel bookings. That is why we do not sell one fixed Char Dham Yatra package. Instead, Kashi Travels in Sector 122, Noida, offers a few well-tested plans and customises them for every group. This page explains each plan, what is included, how hotel categories differ, how the booking works and what terms apply – so you know exactly what you are buying.

Our standard inclusions are the same for all plans:

  • Private vehicle for all days with an experienced hill driver.
  • Door pickup and drop in Noida, Greater Noida, Noida Extension, Ghaziabad or Delhi.
  • Fuel, driver allowance and driver's stay.
  • Hotels in the category you choose (see below).
  • Registration help and a complete document checklist.
  • 24x7 support from our Noida office.
  • Route planning that avoids night driving in the hills.

Usually excluded, and charged at actuals or paid directly: tolls, parking and state entry tax; meals (unless you choose meal plans); pony, palki, doli or pithoo; helicopter tickets; special puja; and personal expenses. We write every inclusion and exclusion in the quote so you can compare our Char Dham Yatra package with any other chardham yatra tour package line by line.

Hotel categories explained

Hotels in the upper Garhwal valleys are simpler than city hotels. Here is what each category means in practice:

Category Typical stay Suitable for
Standard Clean hotel or GMVN rest house, attached bath, basic heating Budget travellers, young groups
Deluxe Better rooms, geyser, heater, in-house restaurant Most families
Premium Best available hotels or Swiss camps near the shrines Seniors, travellers wanting maximum comfort

At Kedarnath, all categories are simpler – guest houses, camps and tents near the temple – because of the location. We always share hotel names in advance.

Group Yatra package in a tempo traveller

For societies, office groups and satsang mandalis, the Group Yatra plan is the most popular chardham yatra tour package we run. Features:

  • 12, 16 or 25 seater Force tempo traveller with pushback seats and AC (AC use in the hills depends on terrain and driver guidance).
  • Roof carrier for luggage.
  • Group hotel bookings with twin, triple or quad sharing.
  • One group coordinator contact for smooth communication.

See seating layouts on our 12 seater tempo traveller and 16 seater tempo traveller pages.

Fast-Track package with Kedarnath helicopter

If walking 16–18 km to Kedarnath is not possible, the Fast-Track plan combines road travel with a helicopter shuttle from Phata, Sersi or Guptkashi. Shuttle tickets are sold only on the official IRCTC HeliYatra portal, and we plan your road schedule around the booked slot. Weather can delay flights, so we keep a buffer in the plan. Full helicopter circuits from Dehradun are explained in our 4 Dham Yatra by helicopter guide.

Which package is right for your family?

Choosing between plans is easier if you answer three simple questions.

How many people are travelling? Two to five people fit comfortably in a Swift Dzire or Ertiga. Four to six people, especially with seniors, are happier in an Innova Crysta. Nine or more should consider a tempo traveller, which keeps the group together and lowers the cost per person.

Can everyone walk long distances? If all travellers are fit, the Classic Family plan with treks to Yamunotri and Kedarnath works well. If one or more members cannot walk far, choose the Comfort Senior plan with palki support, or the Fast-Track plan with a Kedarnath helicopter shuttle.

How many days can you spare? Eleven to twelve days is ideal for a relaxed road trip. With only a week, a Do Dham plan covering Kedarnath and Badrinath is the practical choice, and you can complete Yamunotri and Gangotri on a later trip.

Share these answers with us and we will suggest the most suitable chardham yatra tour package – not the most expensive one.

What a typical day on the yatra looks like

Most days follow a simple rhythm. We start early, usually between 6 and 7 am, when roads are clear and the light is soft. The driver stops every two to three hours for tea, breakfast and rest. By early afternoon we reach the next stop, before the clouds and rain that often build up in the hills after noon. Evenings are free for temple visits, aarti or rest. On trek days to Yamunotri and Kedarnath, the vehicle waits at the base, and our driver helps you find ponies, palkis or porters at official counters.

This rhythm keeps the journey safe and leaves enough energy for darshan, which is the real purpose of every Char Dham Yatra package.

Popular add-ons

Many families add one or two special experiences to their plan:

  • Chopta and Tungnath: The highest Shiva temple in the world, reached by a short trek from Chopta, fits between Kedarnath and Badrinath.
  • Auli: Meadows and cable-car views near Joshimath.
  • Harsil valley: Apple orchards and river views on the way to Gangotri.
  • Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib: From Govindghat near Badrinath, best in July–August.
  • Rishikesh stay: An extra night for Ganga aarti, yoga or simply rest before returning home.

Each add-on adds a day or two to the plan and the quote. Tell us early so we can book hotels in time.

Package or do-it-yourself?

Some travellers plan the trip themselves by booking hotels online and hiring vehicles at each town. It can work for experienced mountain travellers, but it means handling registration, hotel changes, vehicle breakdowns and road closures on your own. A complete package gives you one point of contact, a driver who stays with you throughout and a team in Noida that can rebook hotels or change the route when needed. For families travelling with parents or children, that support is usually worth far more than the small saving of a self-planned trip.

Choosing your dates

Your dates affect hotel availability, crowd levels and even the total cost. May and early June are the busiest weeks, and hotels near Kedarnath and Badrinath fill up quickly. Late September and October offer clearer skies and fewer crowds. Our best time for Char Dham Yatra guide explains the weather month by month, and our Char Dham Yatra cost guide explains how the season changes the budget. Groups can also compare vehicle options on our tempo traveller on rent in Noida page.

Comparing quotes from different operators

When you collect quotes, ask every operator to describe their chardham yatra tour package in the same format: vehicle model and age, total days, kilometre policy, driver allowance, hotel names and categories, meal plan, and what happens if a road closes. A low headline price often hides exclusions such as tolls, state tax or extra-day charges. A transparent chardham yatra tour package lists all of these upfront, so the price you agree on is close to what you finally pay.

How to book your Char Dham Yatra package

  1. Share your plan: Dates, number of travellers, ages, pickup location and preferred vehicle. WhatsApp is the quickest.
  2. Receive a written quote: With vehicle, hotel names, inclusions, exclusions and terms.
  3. Register online: Every traveller registers on the Tourist Care Uttarakhand portal. We guide you step by step – see our registration guide.
  4. Confirm with an advance: Paid only to our company account with a receipt.
  5. Pre-trip call: We share driver details, packing list and final itinerary 2–3 days before departure.
  6. Travel with support: Our office stays in touch throughout the trip.

Terms you should know

  • Tolls, parking, state tax and night charges (if applicable) are charged at actuals.
  • Extra days due to landslides or road closures are charged for the vehicle and hotel as per actual use.
  • Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel; details are written on the quote.
  • Hotel changes by the traveller after confirmation depend on availability.
  • The itinerary may change for safety because of weather or official advisories.

Clear terms are part of an honest Char Dham Yatra package – they protect both the traveller and the operator.

2026 dates and season advice

The shrines opened between 19 and 23 April 2026 and will close in November. The best months for a road package are May, the first half of June, and mid-September to October. July and August are monsoon months with landslide risk. Always check the latest temple updates on the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee website.

Why families choose Kashi Travels

Kashi Travels has run taxi and tour services from Noida for more than 15 years. Families choose our Char Dham Yatra package because:

  • Our drivers know the mountain roads, safe halts and hotel locations.
  • Vehicles are clean, commercially registered and have valid Uttarakhand permits.
  • Quotes are transparent, with no hidden charges.
  • We give honest advice – including when a cheaper vehicle or fewer days is the better choice.

A pilgrim family wrote on Google after their Kedarnath and Badrinath trip that their driver "demonstrated excellent driving skills and had great knowledge of the routes and timings". We aim to earn that feedback on every trip.
